The George Pub in George Yard in Andover has re-opened under temporary management until the end of January when the new owners will be taking over.
The pub is open from 5.00pm till 11.30pm every day and open until late on New Years Eve. Please note that only the bottom bar is currently open.
In addition there are also room available for anyone wanting to stay the night. Rooms are not en-suite but have access to two large shower room areas.
The two single rooms are available for £30 per night each whilst the two twin rooms are available for £40 per night each. For more details, pop in and see Richard and Valerie at the pub.
great news, best band venue in town xxx
It was the best band venue in town. There were plans to hold at least one gig in January but as I understand it has been cancelked.
We can hope the new owners hold gigs but there are no guarantees. Good need the pub is re-opening but a little premature to celebratiing its return as a venue for original music.
