TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER
Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow highway improvements, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Part of Newbury Road Andover, southbound carriageway only between Smannell Road roundabout and Enham Arch bridge
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the northern point of closure, north on Newbury Road, west and south on Saxon Way, further south on Goch Way, east on Redon Way, further east on Northern Avenue and north on New Street to the southern point of closure and on the same roads in the opposite direction
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 19 October 2015 for a period of 6 months or until completion of work, whichever is sooner.
DURATION OF WORKS It is expected the road will be closed overnight from 20:00 to 06:00 the next day between Monday and Friday on days to signed in advance on site.
Pedestrian and reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available.
