Police are looking for a gang of thieves after various units were broken into at The Commercial Centre in Picket Piece recently.
A total of 14 units were broken into between 8.15pm on Wednesday 8th October and 12.30am on Thursday 9th October with the gang getting away with items including an E Class Mercedes, tattooing equipment, computer equipment and cash.
The gang is believed to have been using a white van, thought to be either a Renault of Citroen make.
Simon Potter, Commercial Director of The Commercial Centre said “We already have CCTV and lighting on site however as the landlord we have improved the lighting still further and introduced night-time security patrols with Venture Security.”
“We have been in discussions with tenants who have added to their security as well” he said.

This crime happened 11 days ago. If it had been reported sooner the public may have had a better chance of recalling what went on that day. However, all bait cold now. Feel desperately sorry for the bussinesses involved. Only the day before the PCC said the Crime Wave in Andover was over. How wrong he was. So come on Andover UK lets be a bit more timely.
Cllr Tony Hooke, I couldn’t agree more. It also makes local business owners, such as myself, very concerned about the lack of adequate CCTV to ensure that our businesses are protected and the perpetrators are bought to justice.
