A broken down train between Overton and Basingstoke is causing disruption to trains between Salisbury and Basingstoke this morning (Tuesday 28th April).
The following changes are expected to apply until approximately 09:30am:
- Trains that run between Exeter St Davids / Salisbury and London Waterloo are being diverted and will not call at Grateley, Andover, Whitchurch or Overton
- Taxis are running between Salisbury and Basingstoke
- Journey times may be extended by up to 30 minutes

It’s an ill wind that blows no good… so in the meantime Taxis will flourish and the station cafe will have more trade and others that want to stand outside can have a coffee too at the cafe on outside
