The Bring Back Breakers Facebook page has been overwhelmed by offers of support following a mention from local radio station, The Breeze-Andover yesterday (Wednesday 27th February 2013).
A small group of people, supported by local Councillors, working towards opening Breakers as a community venture, Bring Back Breakers has more than doubled its page members in 24 hours.

Organisers Debra Beatson, Anji Gillies and Bert Baxter said, “Although it’s still early days, the support and offers of help from the people of Andover has been amazing. We believe Breakers Community Venue would be a fantastic asset to the town and are delighted to have local support.”
The organisers have been inspired by recent talks about the rejuvenation of Andover, to offer a venue for families, for teens and for the community with Bowling, Youth Pub and Night Club. As a community venture all profits would be reinvested into the project.
