We have received a report of a road traffic collision on the A303 Westbound after the A34 near Barton Stacey that happened around 5.00pm today (Sunday 19th July).
Initial reports are that a car has driven into the back of a lorry and emergency services along with Air Ambulance are on the scene.
Delays are expected so please avoid the area if you can.

Update – Highways England (5.45pm)
The A303 in Hampshire is closed Westbound between the A34 (Bullington) and A3093 (Andover) due to a serious incident being dealt with by Hampshire Police.
A diversion is available for Westbound traffic which should exit the A303 at the junction with the A34 and join the A34 Northbound towards Newbury. Leave the A34 at the Wash Common interchange and join the A343 towards Andover. At Andover join the A3093 Southbound to re-join the A303 Westbound.
Update – Barton Stacey Area (5.55pm)
We’ve had an update that traffic is detouring through Barton Stacey village so avoid the area if you can.
