We have had a report of a car accident on the Weyhill Road between the railway bridge and the Railway Tavern roundabout.
The road is currently closed and we will update as soon as we have further details.

Police have now re-opened Weyhill Road. We have also heard it may have been an issue on the embankment beneath the bridge.

Latest report is that it was not a car accident but someone had fallen down the embankment.
Can anyone please tell me happened here. trains are still going past slowly
Apparently it was a teenage girl had fallen down the embankment. We’re still trying to get confirmation and that she is okay.
