Test Valley Borough Council have advised that Black Swan Yard will be closed at its junction with Newbury Road from 8pm on Saturday, 8 August to 8am on Monday, 10 August 2015.
During this time, Hampshire County Council will be carrying out work to this junction as part of the Andover town centre improvement scheme. There will be no vehicle access to the Black Swan Yard car park or the private parking areas off Black Swan Yard. Delivery access will be controlled and maintained.
Alternative free car parking is available at the other outdoor town centre car parks until 8.30am on Monday, 10 August. For more information on the improvement works, visit: www.hants.gov.uk/andover-town.
An Apology
The original headline gave the impression the car park was closed all weekend. This is not the case – the road is closed leading to it from Saturday evening. The car park is STILL OPEN TO SHOPPERS ON SATURDAY.
