Eight new Andover Youth Councillors were sworn in last night (Wednesday 19th November) before the Andover Town Council meeting.
The eight were sworn in with Andover Town Council Chairman Geoff McBride and all supported by family, friends and other youth councillors.
The Youth Council, set up under the guidance of Andover Town Council, is giving young adults the chance to make decisions and make a difference in the town and have already launched the A-Fest Festival.
The Youth Councillors sworn in were:

- Miles Holder
- Max Lane-Bradbury
- Joseph Raymond Barley
- Hugh Reilly-Smith
Congratulations to Andover College students Max Lane-Bradbury, Hugh Reilly-Smith and Joe Borley! Thank you (and all the Andover students involved) for all your sterling work so far in organising A-Fest 2015. It promises to be a very successful event and hopefully the first of many projects the Youth Council and Andover College will be associated with.
