Yes, this Friday between 4:30pm and 7:30pm in Andover High Street it’s the Andover Christmas Lights 2013 Switch On!
During the day between 10am and 2pm there is a Food and Craft Market with The Artic Explorers Street Performers performing between 11am and 3pm.
The live music kicks off with an acoustic performance by Ben Sellers from local band In Darklight at 4:40pm and then there is further live music and entertainment on the Big TV Stage with Steve Randall and The Breeze and including:
- Portway Glee Club
- Bethany Hayter
- Bang On
- Just Jhoom
- Sing for Fun
- Dan Farr
- Stagecoach
- Chasing Daisies
- Maddison & Ali
As well as the Big TV Stage AND the entertainment will be:
- Father Christmas and his Elves
- Chair-o-plane Ride
- Carousel
- Fabulous Festive Food
This will all be topped off by The Chantry Centre Fabulous Firwork Finale.

Considering the number of people that turn up to this event, there could be more stalls and entertainment, especially for the children.

Hi, The school choir were out of this world, the little cherubs were singing their hearts out, even brought a tear to my eye.
As a community, more events like this should be held, it restored my faith in humanity and seeing their little glowing faces was just precious.
They will definitely be on Santa’s ‘nice list’ this year.
