TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION
Highways – Temporary Speed Restrictions from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.
OVERVIEW: TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION: – Redon Way, Churchill Way West, Goch Way, Artists Way and Redon Roundabout, Andover in connection with works to construct pedestrian refuge islands and footways on Artists Way and Redon Way
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make a Speed Restriction Order in connection with works to construct pedestrian refuge islands and footways on Artists Way and Redon Way, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE RESTRICTED That part of Redon Way, Churchill Way West, Goch Way and Artists Way for a distance of up to 200 metres from Redon Roundabout and the whole of the Redon Roundabout.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES Not applicable, temporary speed restriction on the length of the road to 30mph.
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 18 August 2014 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.
DURATION OF RESTRICTION It is expected the restriction will be required from Monday 18 August 2014 for 10 weeks.
NOTE No speed limit imposed by this Notice applies to any vehicle used for naval military or air force purposes if it is being used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011.
