TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER
Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.
OVERVIEW: Winchester Road, Chilbolton in connection with installation of passing places.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for works in connection with installation of passing places, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED For its full length
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From its northern end of the closure, east and south on B3420 Winchester Road, west on Gravel Hill and north on Village Street to the southern end of the closure and in the opposite direction.
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 24 November 2014 for a period of 12 months or until completion of works, whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS It is expected that the start date and period of closure will be signed on site.
Reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available while the works are carried out.
