TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER
Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.
OVERVIEW: Sandy Down Lane, Stockbridge, to allow carriageway repairs in patches.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for carriageway repairs in patches, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Sandy Down Lane, Stockbridge, from the A30 to B3049
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the northern end of Sandy Down Lane, west on A30, south on A3057, east on B3049 to the southern end of the closure and in the opposite direction.
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 18 August 2014 for a period of 12 months or until completion of works, whichever is sooner.
DURATION OF WORKS It is expected the closure will be for two days starting on a day to be signed on site.
Reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available while the works are carried out.
