TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER
Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.
OVERVIEW: Coley Lane, Chilbolton to allow for works in connection with installation of a new water main in the carriageway.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for works in connection with installation of a new water main in the carriageway, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Part of Coley Lane Chilbolton from Station Road, Chilbolton to A3057 Romsey Road
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the northern point of closure, north on Coley Lane/Village Street/Winchester Road, Chilbolton/B3420 Winchester Road, west on B3420 through Wherwell, north on B3420 Winchester Road, south on A3057 Romsey Road to the southern point of closure and in the other direction.
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 1 September 2014 for a period of 3 months or until completion of works, whichever is sooner.
DURATION OF WORKS The closure is expected to be for 8 weeks from a date to be signed on site.
