TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER
Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.
OVERVIEW: Adelaide Road and A3057 East Street, Andover, to allow for a new uncontrolled crossing on Adelaide and ducts/surfacing work in East Street
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for works in connection with a new uncontrolled crossing on Adelaide Road and ducts/surfacing work in East Street as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Adelaide Road from its roundabout junction with Vigo Road, New Street and East Street for a distance of 25 metres south and East Street to its junction with its service road south.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES To be signed on site.
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 10 November 2014 for a period of 3 months or until completion of works, whichever is sooner.
DURATION OF WORKS It is expected that Adelaide Road will be closed at all times from Monday 10 November 2014 for 4 weeks and East Street will be closed between 18:00 and 22:30 on days to be signed on site.
Reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available while the works are carried out.
