Peaberry Coffee, Andover’s only commercial coffee roasting company specialising in the roasting of a range of coffees, is holding a roasting evening on Wednesday 5th February from 5:00pm at The Roastery at the Basepoint Centre.
During the course of the evening, the Peaberry Coffee team will show you what a green coffee bean looks like, how they blend it, and then how they roast it. They will be roasting every 30 minutes between 5:00pm and 9:00pm so visitors can choose a time to suit them.
A spokesperson for the company said: “Come and listen to the first “crack” and then see the waterfall of beans tumble out of the roaster – the smell will be worth the visit alone. You can even bag your own beans and take them home to enjoy – how fresh is that!”
“We will also show you some exciting ways to enjoy our coffee from traditional filters to espresso. We also have the latest trend – a Coffee Siphon.”
The company plan to have a wall of fame (or if this is too difficult a table top) for their partners to put any special offers or promotions on for any visitors to take away and have said for anyone wishing to put forward an offer to get in touch with them.
They will also be announcing their chosen charity for February and making a contribution from any purchases made on the evening.
To attend the evening, please register via the Peaberry Coffee website at www.peaberrycoffee.co.uk and go to the Contact Us page.
Peaberry Coffee can be found at The Roastery, Unit 60, Basepoint, Caxton Close, East Portway, Andover SP10 3FG.
