It was “well done to Shaun“, an Enham Trust resident, who daringly jumped out of a speeding plane with the Red Devils in a fundraising skydive on the 18th September.
“It was fantastic; a really good experience.” Shaun said the next day, still buzzing. “I enjoyed every minute of it.”
“I was really nervous beforehand, but Nathan (Corporal Nathan Connolly, team leader of the Red Devils) was there and he’s fantastic. The jump took about 45 seconds but seemed to last a lot longer!”

Shaun, who moved to Enham a few years ago, has cerebral palsy and uses a power wheelchair every day. Once quiet and shy, Shaun is now a DJ on Radio Enham. He worked very hard to fundraise for the station and had been eagerly anticipating the jump over the past few months.
“I’ve managed to raise over £1,000 – I am really proud. Now I’m thinking about doing the ziplining challenge next!”
