The Lights in Andover is still open for business and the water receded after the pond overflowed last night – giving the ducks an extended area to swim in.
Sandbags have been positioned away from the edge of the pond to ensure the safety of visitors and passers-by.

The Culvert that caused so many issues last year is currently okay although the water level has risen.

Over in Marlborough Street, Test Valley Borough Council have been working together with Hampshire Fire to sandbag the River Anton near Andover College, Andover Leisure and Behind The Bikeshed. This was then followed up later in the day by the Army.

Bernard Baker, owner of the family run business told us that they are okay where they are due to the slight rise and customers are still able to get through to them.
