It’s almost time for the Andover Christmas Lights Switch on 2015 – and The Big TV Screen has arrived and has begun setting up.
The Big TV screen has once again grace the High Street to make sure that you don’t miss anything that is going on, and there will be lots to see!
Street theatre acts will be mingling amongst the crowds, Father Christmas will be stopping by and the stage will play host to a range of local performers including:
- Portway Glee Club
- Long Overdue Theatre Company
- Sing for Fun
- Local singers Jayne Deer, John Springett, Jamie Walsh and Jake Ward
The Breeze will compère the evening, and there will be rides and attractions, children’s face painting and lots of delicious food to keep you warm, including a giant paella, Thai noodles, nachos and a barbecue.
The evening will culminate in the Christmas Lights switch on followed by a grand firework display sponsored by The Chantry Centre.
The event is sponsored by Basepoint Andover and the Christmas tree and lights are provided by Andover Town Council.
The Christmas Lights Switch-on is from 5.00pm – 7.30pm tonight (Friday 20 November) and is brought to you by Test Valley Borough Council.
