As at 1.30am today (Thursday 10th July) there were 2 Andover schools listed as being closed due to strike action although there were 35 across Hampshire.
The schools are:
Icknield School
River Way, Andover, SP11 6LT
Partially closed with advice to contact the admin office at the school.
Norman Gate School
Vigo Road, Andover, SP10 1JZ
Partially closed. Yellow Class, Blue Class and Acorns Nursery will be closed due to industrial action. Children in Red Class, Purple Class and Green Class should come to school as usual.
NUT members are on strike today, alongside members of Unison, Unite, PCS, FBU and the GMB as they are protesting against various issues including performance related pay for teachers and pension changes.
