Saturday’s (1st February) Record and CD Fair was declared a success at The Lights with a constant stream of buyers all looking for bargains and that rare piece of vinyl to add to their collection.
With more stalls came more buyers and one rarer piece of vinyl sold for £100.
Heather Whittam from The Lights said: “This is the second Record Fair we have staged at The Lights and it is already growing rapidly with more stall holders and more customers.”
“Events like this are great for the town and also bring lots of new faces into The Lights who might not have visited before. The fair created a lovely vibe in the venue and we are already looking forward to the next one on 22nd March“.
One buyer we spoke to – Bernard Baker from local cycle shop Behind The Bikeshed – said “I popped in to have a look and ended up buying some CDs that I might otherwise have bought on Amazon. They were cheaper (at the event) and I’ll definitely be back to the next one“.
The next Record and CD Fair at The Lights will be on Saturday 22nd March from 10.00am. Click here for more details.
