Police are appealing for information after a fatal collision on the A343 near Abbotts Ann early Friday morning, 25th September.
A grey coloured Renault Laguna was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle just after 5.30am. The driver of the Laguna a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the heavy goods vehicle was unhurt.
Police continue to investigate the exact circumstances and are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, particularly any drivers who may have seen the Renault Laguna immediately before the incident.
Andover Police have also issued an appeal for witnesses on their Twitter account:
“Were you driving a solid side truck or red S reg Nissan Primera on the A343 around 5.30am yesterday morning? We’re investigating a fatal crash and you could be a vital witness. Pls call 101 quoting Op Climb.”
