The plastic bottles collected at Tesco on River Way by Transition Town Andover and Andover Garden Share at Tesco have been recycled – into a greenhouse.
The project involved sixty 16 year olds volunteering as part of NCS (National Citizen Service) and using the plastic bottles donated to make a mini greenhouse as part of a project led by Transition Town Andover to make a vegetable garden for Andover District Mencap.
Wendy from Transition Town Andover said “Thank you to everyone who helped by giving us your bottles!”
Many of the vegetables had been sown as seeds in The Encounters Shop Project.
