The Met Office / BBC website are forecasting a mixed batch of weather over the coming days with yet more rain but the occasional sunny spell between now (Thursday) and Monday.
Thursday 13th February
Rain and sunny spells are forecast between midday and 3.00pm today and then a dry spell through till Friday morning. The temperature is likely to get no warmer than 5°C.

Friday 14th February
Not a great Valentine’s Day as rain is forecast all day with the majority of it precicted to be heavy. Add to that strong winds with them increasing to 30+ mph from late evening till the early hours this looks the worst of the next few days although the warmest at a high of 11°C.

Saturday 15th February
More rain predicted Saturday morning and still very windy but with at least some someshine around the middle of the day. No rain currently forecast for the evening and overnight. High of 9°C.

Sunday 16th February
A dry and bright day with no rain forecast and the strong winds of the previous days easing off. High of around 8°C.

Monday 17th February
Whilst the strong winds may not be back the heavy rain is forecast to be until mid-afternoon before finally stopping in the evening and a high of 9°C.
