The Augustians social group was started to arrange a programme of activities for Augusta Park’s over 50’s residents and when they needed help getting a bike ride up and running, they approached local shop Behind The Bikeshed.
Owner Bernard Baker commented “This fits right in with our desire to be active within our local community, so we were only too pleased to help.”
The weekly ride will head out from the Augusta Park Community Centre at 10.00am every Friday, weather permitting. The ride is open to all Augusta Park residents who would like to ride and anyone interested go along and give it a try.
