We are recruiting a Customer Services Team Leader to supervise the TVCS Reception and Andover Shopmobility and its staff and volunteers.

Candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure Barring Safeguarding check and to provide suitable references.
Job Description
Hours: 30 Hours
Responsible to: Transport Manager
The following list is typical of the duties that the post holder will be expected to assist with. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar type and level may be required from time to time.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- To line manage Shopmobility Staff and Volunteers.
- To actively recruit and support TVCS Shopmobility Volunteers.
- To assist with the opening and closing procedures for the office at the beginning and end of each shift.
- To manage the rota process for the staff and volunteers ensuring that cover is available at all times.
- To receive and record bookings for customers and to ensure the provision of suitable equipment for customers.
- To manage reception for TVCS customers, ensuring that a positive response is given to public enquiries and telephone calls for all aspects of the organisation.
- To manage all aspects of the finances ensuring fees/hires are accurately recorded and regular banking of monies and to inform the Transport manager of any discrepancies or to record them in the daily log book.
- To increase membership through promotional activity and to assist new customers with relevant paperwork.
- Develop ways to increase income such as retail and fundraising opportunities.
- To recommend most suitable equipment with regards to health and safety and provide suitable training following specified guidelines.
- To manage the Meet and Greet service to customers arriving by car/taxi or bus.
- To ensure the safe return of equipment, checking for and recording any damage or faults and making sure it is clean, charged and ready for its next use.
- To ensure that the office and cloakroom and all the equipment is kept tidy, clean and hygienic.
- To provide weekday and weekend cover when required subject to other staff resources being available.
- To run an annual stock take and to purchase new equipment as agreed with the Transport Manager.
- To develop relevant online administration to improve the function of Shopmobility and other TVCS services and to ensure all marketing materials are kept refreshed and up-to-date.
- To attend suitable training courses as required. Expenses will be paid.
- Ensure implementation of all organisation policies and procedures, such as equality and diversity, health and safety, and security.
- To carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the management.
