The latest definitive Guide to Better Care and Support, which provides information and advice to help the elderly and disabled stay as independent as possible, is now available from Hampshire County Council.
For those needing advice and support to manage their everyday life at home, the annual Guide to Better Care and Support explains who to contact and lists care providers throughout Hampshire.
It also provides practical information on all aspects of independent living, including: health matters, finance and funding, travel and transport as well as advice and information for carers.
Hampshire County Council’s Executive Member for Adult Social Care and Public Health Councillor Liz Fairhurst, said:
“Today we are not only living longer but many of us are remaining healthier and more active. When the time comes that you need a little extra support it can be daunting and time consuming working out what help is available and what will best suit your needs.”
