Police are still trying to trace three people from earlier this year in relation to crimes committed in Andover – and would like the public’s help to find them.

John Russell Fox Assault

Police want to speak to a man in the CCTV image in connection with an incident where two men were assaulted in an unprovoked attack in The John Russell Fox pub in the High Street, Andover.

It happened at about 7.15pm on Sunday 1st September 2013. The man punched a 32-year-old man and a 50-year-old man, who were in the pub and then ran away. The 32-year-old sustained minor injuries.

PC Dan Coppin said: “Do you recognise this man? This was an unprovoked attack on two men who were having a drink in the pub. If you know anything, please contact me.”

Tesco Metro / High Street Assault

Tesco Metro Andover Assault CCTV

Police want to speak to a man on a CCTV image about an incident where a man sustained a broken jaw and facial injuries.

The incident happened in Andover High Street between 7pm and 7.30pm on May 2, near to Tesco Metro.

A 19-year-old man was assaulted and took several blows to the head which resulted in a broken jaw and facial injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Penny Herridge said: “A number of members of the public were in the area at the time and we believe some people may have tried to intervene.”

“Were you there? Did you see what was going on? Do you recognise the man in the CCTV image?”

The man is described as white, aged in his mid to late 20s, of a stocky build and about 5ft 9ins tall. He had short shaved hair, tattoos on his arms, back and leg, and was wearing a white and black checked short-sleeved hooded-top, shorts and light-coloured trainers. He also had a ‘stretcher’ earring in his left ear.

Theft of iPhone in High Street Beer Garden

Police Suspect iPhone Theft Beer Garden

On 10th July 2013 a woman was sitting in the beer garden of a pub in Andover High Street when a man approached and asked for directions. However he then grabbed the woman’s iPhone which was on the table and ran off with it.
