Are you a friendly, social, caring person? Do you have a couple of hours to spare, every week?
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for volunteer befrienders to come and join its new service, to offer companionship to people, in their own homes, who have a chronic or life-limiting illness and are lonely and isolated.
Full training and support will be given. Interested volunteers will be invited to an informal interview an the role is subject to references, simple health checks and DBS.
