On Sunday 23rd February, the ‘Pop Up Shop’ in Bridge Street will be taken over by retailer cooking2cooling for a 3 week run.
Whilst the company already has a showroom and Outlet on West Portway, Peter Sherwood-Clarke felt it was a good opportunity to test a presence in the town centre.
He said “We are delighted to be given this opportunity to ‘have a go’ at town centre retailing, it is certainly something we have wanted to do since we opened on West Portway 15 months ago, and would love to do it on a more permanent basis in the future.”
Cooking2cooling’s existing showroom is over 10,000 square feet, it carries a huge range of large appliances such as dishwashers, refrigeration, cookers and laundry, with built-in and freestanding working displays for customers to experience for themselves.
Brands such as BOSCH, Smeg, Stoves, Belling, Lec, Whirlpool, Hotpoint and Indesit are all available for same day FREE delivery. There is also beautiful display of small appliances such as KitchenAid, Dualit and Magimix.
Also at the West Portway site, you will find The Outlet, where there is always a great range of appliances with up to 70% off the normal prices, where stock is either slightly blemished or clearance items. Something for every budget!
The company aims “to provide the range and stock of a superstore, with the convenience and service of a family business” – as a quick look at their testimonials will tell you.
Cooking2cooling will open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm at the Pop Up Shop whilst their main showroom remains open from 8:30am to 6:00pm. Saturdays will remain at 10.00am to 4pm at both sites.
