Prospective Parliamentary candidate for North Hampshire has asked residents to get behind the Small Business Saturday and shop locally.
On his website, Kit Malthouse said: “As a small business owner myself I know how hard life can be at the coal face, so when something like this comes along I hope to encourage everyone to spend the day thinking about how they can support small business.”
“Here in North West Hants, the area is teeming with small businesses who provide jobs and growth for the whole community and I am making their continued prosperity a key plank of my campaign.”
“So this Saturday, if you’re going shopping in town please think about spending your money with in an independent shop. From Heavenly Sweets on Union Street, to Graham men’s outfitter in Swan Court to David Mellor Jewellers and the great little shops in Waterloo Court, they and many others want and need our custom.”
