Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at around 11.45pm on Friday, July 11 at the Co-op store on Weyhill Road in Andover.
Entry was forced into the premises and an unconfirmed quantity of cigarettes was stolen.
Detective Constable Jonny Ramchurn said: “It is believed that two offenders forced entry into the store and stole the cigarettes before driving away towards the A303 in a car that may have been a Subaru estate or similar.”
“I would like to hear from anyone who has information about the incident. Did you witness anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident or in the days prior to the incident? Have you been offered any cigarettes for sale?”
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Ramchurn at Basingstoke CID on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
