Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following the theft of a handbag in Andover.
The incident occurred at around midday on Wednesday, October 1 at Asda on Anton Mill Road.
The victim, a 74-year-old woman, was having a meal in the restaurant when her handbag was removed from the back of her chair.
It was later discovered in the men’s toilet with £30 cash missing.
PC Philip Covey from Andover police station said: “Do you recognise the man from this CCTV image? We would like to speak to him as we think he may be able to assist with our investigation.”
