Hampshire Police and the ambulance service attended the scene of a collision in which a total of 14 people were injured at Nether Wallop near Andover last night (Saturday 3rd October).
At 11.16pm Hampshire Police were called to Dene Farm, Nether Wallop, after a car collided with a marquee during a private party. Eight people were seriously injured. All were assessed by a doctor at the scene and none of the injuries are currently described as life threatening.
The casualties have been taken to a number of different hospitals.
A man, believed to be in his late sixties, has been arrested in connection with this incident with officers at the scene speaking with party-goers who witnessed the collision.
