It will soon be that time when the Andover Carnival Team will announce its chosen charities for the 2016 Carnival – and you don’t have to be a registered charity to benefit from the support of the Carnival.
Local community groups, clubs and schools are also eligible to apply as long as they have a local branch.
Being one of the Carnival’s chosen charities, you’ll not only receive a share of the donations from the Carnival’s fundraising activities but will also benefit from publicity that will raise awareness of the work you are doing – and draw you even more support.
Last year saw our chosen charities each receive a share of £4000, appear in numerous press articles in local press and online – and be seen on their stalls (and in the float procession) by the thousands of visitors who attend the Carnival.
