Tip Top Balloons in Union Street in Andover suffered an act of vandalism on Sunday night (25th October) when one of their windows was broken at around 11.00pm.
On the shop CCTV, shortly after a group of 5 men walked up Union Street, the perpetrator was seen walking in the High Street direction – a male aged around 20 / 25 years old – and kicks one of the large shop windows.
Owner Dave Stanbridge said he’d spoken to the Police and they have a very good image of the perpetrator from the CCTV system but if anyone else has any further information then could they contact Andover Police on 101.
A message to the man has also been posted on the boarded up window:
“To the male who on Sunday 25th Oct @ approx 11pm age 20/25 with dark hoodie, jeans and trainers, using the sole of his foot kicked our window in. We have you on CCTV with a good full face shot, the Police are also investigating and looking at other CCTV in the town.”
“Maybe you will have the decency to own up and pay the £1,000 it will cost me to replace the window. I’m sure you feel very proud of yourself.”
