Test Valley Borough Council have announced that buses will become operational from the new bus station in Andover from Sunday 13th July.
The main bus operating company, Stagecoach will be designing and producing a ‘Welcome to your new bus station leaflet’, which will be posted on buses in and around the town centre.
There will be a campaign aimed at increasing the profile of bus travel in the town centre with the following objectives:
- To increase the passenger footfall in the station by 25% in 2014
- Increase awareness of the bus service in Andover (increase unique visitors online by 5%)
- Encourage existing passengers to recommend the service to friends (through special promotion discount incentives).
