Burbidge’s Bakery on Weyhill Road will be appearing in series 2 of “Britain`s Best Bakery”starting Monday 6th January at 4.00pm on ITV1.
Judges Mich Turner MBE and Peter Sidwell will be back for the second series of the competition, won by Hambleton Bakery from Hambleton in North Yorkshire in series one.
The series is due to be broadcast daily during weekdays over six weeks, with each show about an hour long.

With the country divided into five different regions, the judges will set up a new regional judging HQ each week, to put bakeries through their paces in a series of tough culinary challenges.
Each weekday, from Monday to Thursday, three bakeries from the region will go head to head.
The bakeries must bring a selection of their wares for the judges to taste, before battling it out side by side in the HQ kitchen.
After tasting, the judges will select the bakery that will be going through to Friday’s Regional Final.
Both judges have a wealth of experience – Mich Turner is a TV chef, author and owner of Little Venice Cake Company whilst Peter Sidwell is a TV chef, cookery writer and restaurateur.
