Between 1.00am and 7.00am thieves broke into the downstairs area of the George Inn pub in St Mary Bourne and made off with cash from behind the bar area.
In addition to the cash, items from the freezer were also believed to have been taken.
PC Paula Deery from Whitchurch Police Station said “If any of you were out and about at this time and saw any persons or vehicles please let me know.”
