Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at a house in Cole Close on Saxon Way, Andover in the early hours of Monday 17th June.
At about 3.10am, a man was disturbed as he attempted to drive a silver Audi A4 car off the driveway. When he was confronted he got out of the vehicle, laughed and ran off.
The victim then realised that the house had been entered and several electrical items had been moved or put into bags ready to steal.
Detective Constable Rob Harrington said: “This was an unusual incident in that the man just ran off when disturbed.”
“Were you in the area at the time? Did you see or hear anything suspicious?”
