It’s time to dust off your lycra and dig out your bike for a spectacular cycle event at Anton Lakes on Sunday 22 June at 11am!
Bring your family, bicycle and a picnic and enjoy a leisurely ride around the lakes, taking in some of Andover’s stunning scenery. The meeting point is at Augusta Park at the junction of Smannell Road and Ickneild way.
The route is wide, safe and easy to navigate. It extends from 3km next to the lakes up to 11km. There will be a map-based leaflet with advice on how to prepare and be safe, as well as things to look for on the ride. There will also be stickers to guide people around the route.
There will be plenty of chances to stop for a bite to eat, look at the wildlife or pause for a well earned ice cream.
The Bike Dr will also be available to give free bike health checks from 10am.
