Police investigating an assault in the Shooters Way area of Basingstoke have arrested and holding in custody a 21-year-old woman from Andover.
Police are investigating reports of an assault incident involving two women which is believed to have happened near to South View infant and junior schools on Sunday 5th January 2014 between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on a pathway from Jefferson Road towards the back of the school area.
Officers would like to speak to several members of the public who intervened when the two women were arguing and physically fighting. It is believed two teenage girls helped one of the women and a man also intervened.
PC Lisa Graham said: “Was this you? Did you intervene or witness this incident? I would like to hear from anyone who has information about this incident which could assist my investigation.”
