Test Valley Borough Council is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the launch of its popular Andover Health Walk scheme. And it is inviting the local community to take part in a special stroll to mark the event.
On Tuesday 14 January at 10.30am, residents who have been involved in the initiative over the past 10 years are invited to meet at The Lights for tea and biscuits, followed by a gentle walk.
Community and leisure portfolio holder, Councillor Tony Ward, said: “It is largely thanks to the incredible work of local volunteers that we are able to offer the health walks. They work tirelessly to help local residents to get out and about to explore the borough, keep fit and socialise. Why not make it your new year resolution to join this great initiative!”
