An amazing 71 people took part in the Andover and District Mencap Quiz Night which was held at The Wellington Centre on Saturday 7th February.
It was with great delight, and a pleasant surprise, that we were able to welcome more people to the event than expected and after squeezing everybody in to our main hall it was time for the main event!
After a hard fought 6 rounds, or for others a leisurely more informal approach, the ‘Mixed Nuts’ were finally crowned the champions. More importantly, the evening raised £393 for Andover and District Mencap and all the money going to supporting people of all ages who have learning disabilities and who live in and around the Andover area.
