The paperback copy of Test Valley Arts Foundation’s first youth writing anthology book, ‘Celebrate Youth Writing 2015’, will be launched from Mail Boxes Etc, George Yard, Andover, on Friday, 14th August at 4.00pm.
The new book, published by Bees’ Nest Books, is full of poems, short stories and the first chapter of novels written by young writers aged 11-21 from all over Hampshire.
‘Celebrate Youth Writing 2015’ entries are varied, and their themes range from playful comedy to poignant tragedy; from superheroes to the heroes of the World War 1 trenches; from science-fiction-style alien invasions to animal stories. The E-copy was launched at The Lights in Andover, when over 100 supporters gathered to see a showcase based on the book.

The e-book earned high praise from Yinnon Ezra MBE, Chairman of Test Valley Arts Foundation, who said: “The range of contributions was quite extraordinary, as was the excellence of talent!”
You can pick up your own copy of the paperback book at the launch.
“Even in this electronic age, there is something very satisfying about holding a physical book,” says Project Manager, Cat Randle.
All profits from sales of the book will go to TVAF’s “Celebrate Youth Writing 2016” Project.
The books will be available from Mail Boxes Etc, George Yard, Andover, at a reduced price of £6.00, until 11thth September 2015. Books can also be purchased from the Big Up Words Travelling Bookstall and through the Test Valley Arts Foundation website: www.testvalleyarts.org.
