Andover Carnival have issued a further statement regarding the incident at Andover Carnival on Sunday 20th July 2014.
The statement follows the one issued immediately after the event.
Andover Carnival Statement
Alun Grace Chairman of Andover Carnival said: “Following an accident on a fairground ride at The Andover Carnival on Sunday 20th July, our thoughts are with the three injured in the accident and their families. We wish all those injured have a full and speedy recovery. We are grateful to the emergency services who attended the scene promptly“.
“The fairground ride operators and Andover Carnival will fully co-operate with the Health and Safety Executive and relevant authorities into the investigation that will take place“.
At the current time we are unable to confirm when the investigation will be completed.
The Andover Carnival Committee had taken the decision not to post or comment on this year’s Andover Carnival Family Fun Day in Vigo Recreation Ground out of respect for those involved.
