Andover Carnival 2016 is on tomorrow (Sunday 17th July) – and they have released details on their Facebook pages.

Outline to the Day
Carnival Day 2016 will be held on Sunday 17th July and Vigo Recreation Grounds will once again be the focus of our Family Fun Day commencing at 12 noon until 9pm.
The Main Stage will feature local artists performing a wide variety of music providing a great source of entertainment throughout the day.
To ensure all the Family have a great time we there will be both Children’s and Adult Fairground Rides/Stalls, together with a variety of Craft and Charity Stalls, a Beer Tent, Pimms Tent and numerous Food and Beverage outlets.
Besides the Fun Day our 6th Road Procession for both Floats & Walkers will move through the streets of Andover starting at 4pm.

The Procession
ANDOVER CARNIVAL PROCESSION WILL START FROM THE GRAIN SILO WEYHILL ROAD. FLOATS WILL ASSEMBLE AND BE MADE UP AT HOWARD TENENS YARD, UNIT 2 C, MACADAM WAY, WEST PORTWAY, ANDOVER, SP10 3LF. ACCESS IS AVAILABLE FROM 8.30AM ON SUNDAY MORNING.
COMPLETED FLOATS WILL THEN BE ESCORTED TO GRAIN SILO. PARTICIPANTS WILL ASSEMBLE THERE, WHERE THEY CAN GET ON THEIR FLOATS, BY 2.45PM AT THE LATEST. JUDGING WILL COMMENCE AT 3PM.
ANY FLOATS ARRIVING AFTER THIS TIME MAY NOT BE JUDGED OR ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.
