With a large crowd at Vigo Road Recreation Ground yesterday (Sunday 20th July), it appeared that most of Andover had turned out to support Andover Carnival 2014.
The day started at midday with live music organised by Anton Road Studio, a funfair and various local businesses, stalls and attractions with the park starting to fill by 1.30pm.
The live acts included:
- The Revenant
- Chris Berntsen
- Chasing Daisies
- Oblivion Dance
- One Last Thrill
- 303
- Ben Goddard
- Echotape
- Casual Attire
- In Darklight
- The Torn Off Strips
The procession of floats started at 4.00pm from just off the Weyhill Road with walkers joining near the TVBC Beech Hurst offices before heading through the town centre to the cheering crowds and arriving at the park around 5.00pm.

The threatened bad weather did not appear and the event was treated to blue skies (a few clouds) and sunshine the entire day with the event finally ending just before 9.00pm.
