Well-known for its stunning views and imposing architecture, Portsmouth’s iconic 557ft tall Spinnaker Tower is the place to be for any thrill-seekers looking for the ultimate challenge this summer, as leading disability charity Enham Trust is calling YOU to abseil down it!
Enham Trust, based near Andover, Hampshire, is able to offer 7 daredevils, who can raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship, the opportunity to take on the definitive adrenaline rush – walking the face of the Spinnaker Tower – on 20th June, alongside the charity’s Chief Executive Officer Peta Wilkinson.
The money raised during this challenge will be an invaluable contribution to Enham Trust’s work, supporting over 7,500 disabled and disadvantaged people across the country to live the lives they choose; gaining greater independence in every aspect of their lives.
“I’m extremely proud to be taking on this challenge for Enham Trust,” said CEO Peta Wilkinson. “Abseiling down this tremendous building will prove to be a great personal test for all involved, but disabled people face huge challenges every day of their lives.
