I have looked at last year’s (as yet unaudited) accounts (available at http://www.testvalley.gov.uk/aboutyourcouncil/accesstoinformation/councilfinances/statementofaccounts/) and have found that usable reserves are £47.998m and unusable reserves are £73.598m, total reserves of £121.596m. £48 million of usable reserves is still an awful lot of money sitting around when so much needs fixing in the Borough.
